Missions Department
The Missions Department at Word of Life C.O.C. is committed to fulfilling the vision of the church, in working with others to touch the world for Jesus. We currently serve both local and international church communities through financial and spiritual support. We also work with local organizations in our community to support individuals and families in need of assistance. We invite you to join us in the ministry of giving and most of all, being co/workers with the Lord God, in His ministry to the lost.
International Ministry
Specific areas of involvement for our Missions Ministry have been the offering of aid to seven churches in Cagayan De Oro Province of the Philippines. Pastor Thompson and his ministry teams have preached in Togo, West Africa, and Haiti, while offering aid to ministries in these courtries and the Dominican Republic. We consistently give funds to local organizations, such as CORA Food Pantry and Habitat for Humanity, while making funds available to other organizations, to provide for basic necessities of needy individuals in the community.
